Visa For Dual
Nationals

Pakistan visa for Dual
Nationals shall be granted on the production of the
following documents:-
-
Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC) in original
-
Foreign Passport
-
It may be noted that holders of National Identity Card for
Overseas Pakistanis ( NICOP) are entitled to enter and stay in
Pakistan till the validity of their NICOP without obtain
visa.
For
Business Visa
The applicant must submit a letter from his company (in
Ireland), a letter of invitation from Pakistan and any
other supporting documents. For relevant fee see “Fee
Structure”.
For
Missionary Visa
The applicant must submit the following:-
(c) Letter
from a Missionary Organization certifying that he/she is a
Bonafied member of the said Organization, which takes full
responsibility for his/her maintenance, boarding/lodging and
return journey in case repatriation from Pakistan was
required.
(d) Declaration
to respect and abide by the laws of Pakistan and that he/she
will refrain from indulging in internal politics and will
comply with all the regulations of Pakistan.
(e) Biodata
for last 10 years.
(f) Photostat
copies of his/her educational degrees diplomas/certificates
(with English translation, if required).
(g) Letter
from the Organization in Pakistan inviting the said missionary
worker.
(h) Complete
details of the person being re-placed showing the exact date
of his final exit, and visa position at that time alongwith
photo copies of passport pages indicating final exit, final
visa as well as the cancellation of un-utilized visa (if any).
This type of
visa requires three to four months or more to process.
For NGO
Visa
The applicant must submit a letter from the NGO confirming
that the applicant is visiting on its behalf and a letter from
the inviting NGO in Pakistan. One month visa will be issued by
the Embassy. For long term visa, the NGO is required to be
registered with the Government of Pakistan. In such cases
applications will be forwarded to Islamabad for prior
clearance.
Visit/Tourist
Visa
If the Visa Officer is satisfied about the
purpose of a visit, the Embassy will grant visit/tourist visa
for three months validity and stay with double entry. Tourist
Visa can be extended in Pakistan upto a maximum period of six
months including the initial visa period on payment of fee.
Following documents would be required for processing
Tourist/Visit visa cases:-
1.
Exact address of stay with telephone number in Pakistan,
supported by letter of invitation and confirmation of
accommodation.
2.
Evidence of support
of financial means, such as employer’s letter or bank
statement.
3.
If traveling in
group, letter/travel itinerary from the tourist operator
concerned.
4.
It may be noted that
visa fee should NOT be deposited unless the
application is approved.
5.
Visa will be issued two days after the receipt of application
and the interview.
Family visit visa for Pakistani origin
holders of Irish Passports
Irish Passport holders of Pakistani origin can be granted visa
with multiple entries valid for one year, or validity of their
Passport, whichever is less. Foreign spouses of such
applicants are also issued such visas subject to
production of copy of marriage certificate and NIC of the
applicant.
Visas
for Third Country nationals
Foreign nationals can apply for Pakistan visa
from their country of origin or from the place of legal
permanent residence.
Applicants holding passports other than the Irish passport are
required to submit proof of residential status in Ireland.
Their passport must contain appropriate Irish visa or entry.
Alternatively, a utility bill with applicant’s address (Bord
Gais/ESB/Telephone) or Bank Statement in his name may be
provided. Those who have no evidence of stay should apply for
visa in their country of origin. However, grant of visa to
nationals, other than the Irish will require a longer process
